Reality in the Post 9-11 World

Reality in the Post 9-11 World

Yesterday a small Cessna aircraft mistakenly flew into restricted airspace around the capital causing a moment of hysteria and panic. (Or was it all staged by Homeland Security?) Echoes of 9-11 resound as politicians and staffers ran for their dear lives or were shuttled into underground bunkers where Dick Cheney and the shadow government secretly resides.

People are on edge as the paranoia deepens: When will the terrorists return? Where will those evil-doers attack next? Who will be the next to go when a suicidal aircraft plummets into a government building.

Fear strikes deep into the heart of Washington politicians and their staffers. Except of course our fearless leader, oblivious to all that surrounds him, blissfully ignorant of the entire incident while riding his bike out at the Wildlife Research Center in Maryland.

Or is that the image he wants to convey...
