Why Do They Hate Us?
With the legality of torture being debated in Congress, with an illegal war raging in Iraq, with Christian evangelists calling for the execution of foreign heads of state, it's no wonder we are the object of wrath in Argentina. And yet... W's idea of initiating discourse with those who disagree with America, such as Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez:
"I will of course be polite," Bush said. "That's what the American people expect their president to do, be a polite person."
Politeness disguising violence, fraud, and hypocrisy. It's no wonder they hate us...
