Fading Victory & Falsification
Until now, they were victorious in their deliberate exploitation of the the media, perverting and falsifying disinformation. But now, the tides have changed, death hangs over the nation, and nothing remains but the descent into the final abyss where faith and truth are wholly and forever extinguished.

Reality Ends Here
It has been a long, hard road since Bush announced "major military operations have ended" with his victory landing on the Abraham Lincoln. Still announcing victory 2 1/2 years later, the President is testing the nation's ability to swallow his sweeping, epic narrative of the War in Iraq. As they say in Hollywood, and now in the Oval Office, "reality ends here."
It is not a question of believing, it is the suspension of disbelief. Theater is about illusion.

As they say, truth is so 20th century. Do we still own our reality? Hardly. In this decade of disinformation, corporate cooking of the books, lobbyists field trips to posh country clubs, trumped up novels, and now the NSA watching over us all: every call we make, every breath we take... any semblance of the truth must now be left to reality TV, where in the most bizarre way, the media has appropriated all that is left of reality, far beyond the suspension of disbelif.

Defending Against the Coup d'état

The descent of the Nation has now infected the military, who are in the beginning stages of a coup d'état, the first attempt of a military takeover of the US Government since the Civil War. Retired generals deflect attention while active military leaders secretly gather in shadowy situational rooms to develop strategies for the takeover of the White House.

Yesterday at the White House, after vetoing the stem cell bill, Bush blesses children who were adopted as embryos, while Israeli attacks in Lebanon continue unabated killing tens of innocent children.
One can only assume, in the eyes of the President, that not all children are born equal under God.

Sending the Beast to the Gallows
With the death sentence of Saddam, they will all be lining up to sling the noose... to cast the Beast to the lowest region of Hell, the Traitors Against Their Own, so that evil will be extinguished, tyranny will end, democracy will flourish, and the world will awaken renewed and pure as the driven snow.
Perhaps they are hanging the wrong man?

An Acknowledgement of Reality

Reality has descended in Washington, DC, or at least something that resembles reality: an analysis of deteriorating conditions that goes beyond good and evil, or winning and losing.
As the world closes in around him, as the elders attempt to clean up the mess, Bush is all alone in his bubble, where reality has no currency. The real security threat to America is not terrorism, or insurgents, or "Islamic Fascism"... it is the fatal combination of arrogance and incompetence that threatens to bring down the whole house of cards.
